Who We Are
We don’t just capture.
We Tell illuminating stories.
Lightbulb Media is a National creative production house dedicated to telling stories that cut through the noise. From high-altitude documentaries to polished brand films, we bring a cinematic eye to every frame.
Our Origins
Forged in the Rockies.
Lightbulb Media began with a simple premise: great technology is nothing without a great story. Founded in the heart of Colorado, and quickly expanding nationwide, we draw inspiration from the rugged landscapes that surround us; places that demand authenticity, scale, and resilience.
We operate at the intersection of high-end cinema and digital strategy. Whether we are hanging off a cliffside for an outdoor brand or crafting a narrative for a tech startup, our process remains the same: listen deeply, plan meticulously, and execute with relentless craft.
The Collective
Meet the Makers
Caleb Weaver
Owner/Producer/Creative Director
Two things matter regarding this business: empathy and excellence.
I draw on a pretty broad spectrum of experiences, from filming in the rotor wash of a Blackhawk helicopter at 12,000ft, to interviewing the Governor of Colorado about geo-exchange technology. I’m not here for a paycheck, I’m here to make something that speaks to you and your audience through a unique application of timeless tools.
Tim DaCosta
Director/Cinematographer
Mountain bike wizard. Renaissance man. Professional goon. There isn’t much Tim can’t do, whether it’s a 30′ mini canyon gap on Teton Pass, jumping into a thorny lighting situation, or rigging a camera where cameras shouldn’t be.
Tim brings a level of professionalism that takes a project up several notches without making things too serious. His experience living and shooting in Thailand paints his current work with fresh color and a unique perspective. He says he’s just here to party, but he’s really here to set up rad shots and make it look easy.
Bryson Rasmussen
Camera Operator
Representing an incredible juxtaposition of friendliness and drive, Bryson brings his experience as a lieutenant firefighter to bear on every shoot.
Cool and resourceful under pressure, he has saved more than one circumstantially impaired shoot by thinking creatively and leveraging his knowledge and assets. Plus he’s got a great eye.
Spencer Jensen
FPV Drone Operator
The only thing more awesome than Spencer’s GoPro-Million-Dollar-Challenge-Winning drone footage, is his knowledge and love of the craft.
Spend five minutes with Spencer talking about drones and you will know two things: He is totally in love with what he does, and he is always pushing his own limits to become a better pilot.
